Family lock down with Covid

After feeling a little fatigued with sore throats and cold symptoms and after home testing we are now isolating with Covid. So far, day 5, it's not any worse. We are all fully Vaxed and have been taking for a while now, daily Vitamin D and Zinc....The positive is that we will have some form of immunity.

Keep safe and well. xx

Update

Well we certainly have had a personal emotional rollercoaster of a ride of late. But we have to thankful of who we are are and where we live in todays climate.

Over Easter we collected a cat from our local re-homing provider. Thank you Southern Downs Arc.

Meet Missy, a two year old well behaved little girl who is fitting in so well and helping our healing.

Were actually surprised how good she is. Certainly very vocal around feeding time. Edward say's that he may love a her a little!...

And in Mid June we collect our new puppy. Watch out for lot's of new pictures of all things adorable.

Which one is ours?....

So Sorry

So sorry to tell our news is that we have lost our family dog Milo "Aka Molly" who had to be put down due to cancer on the 7th of April.

So sudden and such a shock. It's been very tough to lose a family pet but we celebrate the times that we have had.

And our dear friends commissioned this wonderful artwork which is so true....Thank you.

Sunday morning bike ride

One  of our weekend pleasures is a local bike ride around our town, providing its not too hot or windy of which we've had our fair share of late. But this morning was perfect.

Water bottles packed and we off for another 2 hr ride.

Week away before school

We manged a week away before school starts which was delayed by two weeks because of Covid in a friendly dog home in Peregian on the Sunshine Coast. Which was just great. Peregian seems to be a little less expensive than Noosa but still has great eating and only 5 minutes for the sea. So we had twice daily dog walks on the beach on which our hound went crazy.

It's so nice to see many happy faces of dog owners with a spectacular array of breeds. One of our favourites is a cross labrador X poodle called a Groodle. Maybe our next doggy...
